alphabetically. Generally they start with the street
name, followed by GPS coordinates in the format 51°13’28”N
2°55’12”E and then brief directions such as ‘parking
at Marina’ or ‘Parking next to parking for buses-indicated’,
then the number of motorhome places, costs, facilities
and opening times are identified by symbols.
In addition places of interest close
to the stopover are also mentioned which may include
museums, markets and tourist information, for example
‘Modern port city and seaside resort with casino and
horse race track’. Postcodes are not supplied in this
publication. Spain, Slovenia, Croatia, Greece and Portugal
do not contain GPS.

France has (1193) aires de service, vineyards, restaurants
and discount campsites listed, all of these were checked
remotely prior to printing. Germany has (1396) stellplatz
listed, Italy has (667) area di sosta, Belgium (185),
Holland (217), and Denmark (157), Switzerland (55),
Austria (68). Tolerated places are also mentioned for
Portugal (170) and Greece (46) but Croatia and Spain
predominantly feature campsites because there are very
few stopovers in existence. Also listed are Slovenia,
UK, and Luxemburg.

is ideal for motorhomers with no foreign language skills
